The JP team attended Atlanta Magazine's GA design awards on Thursday night, where the jury nominated three of our projects for awards. By the night's end, the three projects won Bronze for Interior Use of Stone, Silver for Best Porch/Patio/& Deck, and Gold for Best Remodel over 1000SF.
Best Interior Use of Stone
Jones Pierce won the bronze award of Interior Use of Stone award for their stunning project, the 'Lake Compound Effect'. Located in the exclusive Kennebec neighborhood on Lake Martin, the exceptional property sits on a naturally formed peninsula, perfect for entertaining and enjoying the breathtaking surroundings.
The expertly crafted stonework seamlessly blends with the rustic exterior aesthetic, while simultaneously enhancing the warmth and ambiance of the interior spaces.
Best Deck, Patio, or Porch
The jury praised Jones Pierce's outstanding work on the 'Level Up House', awarding them the honor of a silver medal in the Best Deck category. Nestled within the exclusive and picturesque Waterfall Country Club, a gathering of magnificent mountain retreats that honor Appalachian architectural traditions, this remarkable residence captures the essence of rustic elegance.
Jones Pierce pushed the design boundaries by introducing dynamic roof lines to create a compound look, sleeker materials, and atypical framing methods that would allowed the home atypical window openings.
Gold for Best Remodel
In a competitive category, Jones Pierce was able to come away with the gold for Best Remodel over 1000 SF on their project, 'The Nest' located in Sandy Springs.
For this project, kids had flown the nest, and where the focus was originally on an expansive family room addition, efforts were redirected to a whole house refresh turning their family home into the retreat for this lovely couple. Excited to be called back on the job, Jones Pierce jumped at the opportunity to transform their home.
