Reframed Memory

The clients were quite fond of many aspects of their existing home, not least of which were the years of memories made within. Our first order of business was to meet at their home to discuss what worked for them and what they would do differently when starting from scratch. We came away from this meeting with a list of qualities that they intended to maintain, like plenty of kitchen space, sperate activities spaces for the children, and quality outdoor living. Their renovation provided this same familiar feeling, while addressing the need for natural light, opening spaces for diagonal views throughout the house, and an overall stylistic update.
