Jones Pierce first renovated this one-story, ranch-style Ansley Park home in 1999. The renovation encompassed the addition of a new second floor, and stairs leading to it. The new second floor was built to house a master suite, laundry room, and a home office. Throughout this first phase of the renovation, allowances were made in anticipation of further work. This year, that second phase of work was completed. The new two-story Tudor house underwent more extensive interior and exterior renovation. Both the interior and exterior of the home were completely redesigned, and a total of 1 200 sq. ft. were added to the existing floor plan. At the rear of the house, an existing deck was turned into a spacious, brightly-lit living room, with an enclosed porch underneath. A new fireplace was also added to the back, as well a wood deck. The front of the house received an updated entry space, which opens onto a stairway that leads to the new second floor. Along with a complete reworking of the kitchen, the addition of a carport rounds out the project.
