The second floor addition and interior remodel of a ranch-style house. The exterior was restyled in a plantation colonial vernacular with a wide front porch which, together with the interior plan changes, made this a successful updating of a typical ranch to the effect that the original house is no longer discernable. A new gracious front porch sets the pace for the new style and blurs the line between interior and exterior spaces.
