Our work on this house focused on getting the owner more gathering spaces out of an unapproachable in-town bungalow. This meant adding a gracious Southern Colonial front porch and landscaping the front yard with a lively sidewalk path to address an active Piedmont Park-area street. The project included building out a modern basement party space complete with wine room, all lit creatively with foundation-top clerestory windows. The project was featured on HGTV’s “Groundbreakers” in 2008.
