A master planning exercise for a phased mixed use development of a 6.2 acre site along the beltline in South Atlanta comprising 600 residential units, a grocery store, and another 90,000 SF of commercial space with parking garages for over 1800 cars. Jones Pierce collaborated with the developer and neighborhood to develop the master plan for rezoning the property to mixed use commercial (MRC-3) for high density development for up to 750 units. The vision was to provide the community with a much needed commercial district to become the focus of the neighborhood. A planned station for the Beltline anchors the southern end of the property, which provides alternative transportation for workforce and affordable housing.
