Jones Pierce was commissioned to remodel the exterior of an existing coffee shop in an effort to make the store appear more inviting and easier to access. The solution involved removing the original structure?s extended wood framed canopy and replacing it with two smaller aluminum fiberglass canopies. A pre-finished metal panel system was introduces to conceal the area where the old canopy was connected. Once the canopy was removed the parking lot was reconfigured to allow for easier access from all directions. The new canopies were both decorative and functional as the lower straight canopy provides needed sun shading and the upper curved canopy offers protection from precipitation and translucence for lighting. Once completed the store experienced a 20% sales increase.
